AfriForum’s Witbank branch does repair work, fills 40 potholes

The AfriForum branch in Witbank worked hard the past week to ensure motorists’ safety by filling about 40 potholes in Theunis Janson Street up to the entrance of the Edenpark retirement village. The branch plans on soon painting road signs in Van Rensburg Street because these are invisible and pose safety risks to road users.

“The local municipality still refuses to do the necessary maintenance to Witbank’s infrastructure. AfriForum’s Witbank branch launched this project because it will contribute to a safer community,” says Johan Swanepoel, Chairperson of AfriForum’s Witbank branch.

The branch invites businesses and community members to get involved in this project.
