On 17 November the AfriForum neighbourhood watch in Dullstroom held a renovation action at the local police station.
During this action the garden next to the entrance was cleaned and flowers were planted. Two trees were also planted and a solar light was installed at the entrance so that the staircase is brightly lit at night.
“We are grateful that we could take on this action. It is important that people feel safe in Dullstroom and even more so at our police station,” says Gerhard Delport, leader of AfriForum’s neighbourhood watch in Dullstroom.
Furthermore we plan to fix the brick wall on both sides of the entrance and to install more floodlights so that there is more light when people visit the police station at night. A name plate has already been ordered for the police station.
