AfriForum’s Hessequa branch made a financial donation to the Go Green Knysna Project, which entails the rehabilitation of this popular tourist destination by planning trees.
The Hessequa branch concluded AfriForum’s national arbour month by planting three types of trees – the water berry, Outeniqua yellowwood and the Cape ash – in the Pledge Nature Reserve.
“We are proud to be involved in this project and hope that these trees will contribute to restoring Knysna to its former glory,” says Evert Bouwer, AfriForum’s Branch Chairperson for the Hessequa district.
