AfriForum’s Gordons Bay neighbourhood watch, which forms part of this civil rights organisation’s Helderbergkom branch, received training on 19 June 2019 in legal aspects in terms of patrols. The training was presented by Johandré van Zyl, AfriForum’s Head of Safety for the southern region.
“The neighbourhood watch members were quite happy with the training and look forward to undergoing more training to ensure a safer community,” says Ben Cronjé, Chairperson for Safety of AfriForum’s Gordons Bay branch.
