The agreement was handed over to Lt Col Petrus Nzina, Commander of the SAPS in Bethal.
“We are extremely excited about this agreement, which has the purpose of following an integrated approach to improve safety and encourage community cooperation in the combating of crime,” says Hillel Coetzer, AfriForum’s Regional Coordinator for Mpumalanga West.
“This agreement strengthens our ability to bring about a difference in our community, but we need the help and support of local residents in order to fight against crime,” says Ingrid Human, Chairperson of the AfriForum branch in Bethal.
“AfriForum is also planning to enter into cooperation discussions with CPF structures shortly,” Coetzer concludes.
