The civil rights organisation AfriForum placed garbage bins in a park next to the Moreleta River in the Faerie Glen area of Pretoria after a joint clean-up operation to help the community to keep the park clean.
“We hope that the bins will help in keeping the area clean and will encourage people not to litter,” says Lambert de Klerk, AfriForum’s Regional Coordinator for Gauteng. “AfriForum wants to contribute to a better, cleaner and safer community, and we request residents to join our local branches to help us make this possible.”
